How Zapier uses Firecrawl to Empower Chatbots image

We launched a new product last year, Zapier Chatbots, which allows users to build AI chatbots that answer questions, resolve issues, and nurture leads with the power of automation. One of the most exciting features we’ve introduced is the ability to connect chatbots to custom knowledge sources on the web, thanks to Firecrawl.

Pulling data from the web is crucial because it allows chatbots to access information on customers’ public websites and help centers. Many users create chatbots for lead generation and customer support, aiming to answer FAQs about their business or events. Firecrawl lets them effortlessly pull in this valuable content directly into our product.

Integrating Firecrawl was seamless. An engineer found it during our vendor evaluation and quickly had a prototype running. We were especially excited by all of Firecrawl’s endpoints and AI first features which align well with our roadmap! During our evaluation, the Firecrawl team answered all of our questions and even connected us directly with their engineers when we had questions at launch.

Overall we’re excited to work with Firecrawl and look forward to what’s next!
