- Only rounds with a named lead are included. I pulled the list through fireround's "most active lead investors" ranking for the AI sector over the last 7 days. It returned 45 lead investors, under the 50 cap, so it should cover every AI round in fireround's data that has a lead. AI rounds announced without a named lead won't appear.
- "AI" means fireround's sector label. Some entries, such as Reliable Robotics, Tamr and MemSilicon, are only loosely AI.
- A few records look wrong:
- Arda's website is listed as qz.com.
- Goodweek's $12M was written in Spanish and fireround didn't convert it to dollars.
- Popcorn AI Studio's lead appears twice under two spellings; I merged them into one row.
- Fireround didn't name the $9M "AI data API startup."
- I didn't check the rounds against their original press releases. I can look up any company with fireround's company-profile lookup, which gives the official announcement link and all investors in the round.
