NJ Construction Permit Data (data.nj.gov)
Every construction permit New Jersey municipalities report to the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) under N.J.A.C. 5:23-4.5(d), from the state open data portal data.nj.gov (Socrata dataset w9se-dmra): about 2.7 million permit and certificate records from about 560 municipalities, covering roughly the last five years and reloaded monthly. Search permits by municipality, county, block and lot or PAMS_PIN parcel, permit type, use group, status, issue date, construction cost and DCA processing date (to poll for new and changed permits); read one record with every published column; and resolve a municipality to its DCA and Treasury codes with permit, new-construction, demolition, valuation and housing-unit counts for a date window. DCA receives no street address, coordinates or contractor, so those fields are null or empty. The data is Public Domain: every response and record carries its licence, attribution and source URL.
