### What you can search

### How to use it

* **ChatGPT and Claude.** Install the Firecrawl plugin in [ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6a314a73f8ac819195b0d55e36b9c609?q=firecrawl) or [Claude](https://claude.ai/directory/connectors/firecrawl) and ask your question.
* **API.** `GET` or `POST /search/gov`, or `/search` with `categories: ["gov"]`.
* **MCP and CLI.** `firecrawl_gov_search` in the Firecrawl MCP server and `firecrawl gov` in the CLI.
* **Alexandria.** Call the `firecrawl-gov-index` provider to get the laws and cases each page cites, plus jurisdiction, court and date filters.

Searches use no credits, and every result links to its source so your agent can check the issuer and version before it answers.
