## Capabilities

- [Api changelog](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/api_changelog): The Notion API changelog (developers.notion.com/page/changelog.md) as entries, newest first: date, the date heading as published, change title, a link to the dated section and the change's Markdown. One record per change heading; older roll-up headings such as "Changes for April 2024" have a null `date`. Filter by `since`/`until` (inclusive dates) and `q`; paginated with `limit`/`offset`.
- [Get blog post](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/get_blog_post): One Notion blog post (www.notion.com/blog/{slug}) as Markdown converted from the rendered page, with title, description, published and modified times (from the page's Article JSON-LD), the byline (author names and, when shown, job titles), an outline and the content. `section` (heading text or anchor) returns one part. Accepts a slug or a blog URL. Unknown posts are `not_found`.
- [Get page](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/get_page): One Notion developer docs page as clean Markdown (GET developers.notion.com/{path}.md, the docs' agent-facing twin) with title, description, an outline of headings with anchors, and the content. `section` (heading text or anchor, case-insensitive) returns only that heading and its subsections. Accepts a page path or a developers.notion.com URL; an anchor in the URL selects that section. Unknown pages and sections are `not_found`.
- [Get pricing](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/get_pricing): Notion's plans and prices from www.notion.com/pricing in one call: each plan card (Free, Plus, Business, Enterprise) with its description, the price as displayed, and both the monthly-billing and annual-billing list prices from the page's embedded price table (annual as the yearly total and per month), so no billing toggle is needed. Also other priced products on the page (Notion AI add-on, AI credit packs, Sites custom domains, the student plan) and the feature comparison grid (section, feature, tooltip and each plan's value or check mark). Prices are in the currency the page serves (USD for US visitors).
- [Get release](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/get_release): One Notion release notes page (www.notion.com/releases/{date}) as Markdown converted from the rendered page, with date, title, version badge, description, an outline of the announced features and the content. `section` (heading text or anchor) returns one feature. Accepts the release date or a release URL. Unknown dates and sections are `not_found`.
- [Get template](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/get_template): One Notion template page (www.notion.com/templates/{slug}): name, description, the listing text as plain text, creator, categories, rating (average and count), install count, created and updated times, preview image and public notion.site preview URL. Accepts a slug or a template URL. Unknown templates are `not_found`. Paid template prices are not in the page data and are not returned.
- [Help article](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/help_article): One Notion help center article or guide (www.notion.com/{locale}/help/{slug} or /help/guides/{slug}) in any of the 22 help center locales, as Markdown converted from the rendered page, with title, description, category, last-updated time, an outline of headings with anchors and the content. Screenshots and videos are omitted; callouts become blockquotes. `section` (heading text or anchor) returns only that heading and its subsections. Accepts a slug (plus optional `locale`) or a help center URL in any locale. `updated_at` is the page's lastmod in the same-locale help sitemap (a second request), the field change monitors should watch. Unknown articles and sections are `not_found`, as are help slugs that redirect off www.notion.com (for example `security-and-privacy`, which now points to a notion.site page; its category is readable with help_category).
- [Help category](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/help_category): Every article and guide in one Notion help center category (www.notion.com/{locale}/help/category/{slug}/all) with localized titles, slugs, kind and URLs, in any help locale. Accepts a category slug (plus optional `locale`) or a category URL. Unknown categories are `not_found`.
- [List blog posts](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/list_blog_posts): Notion blog posts, newest first. Default mode reads a listing page (www.notion.com/blog, or /blog/topic/{topic}) with title, subtitle, topic and authors with job title and company, 10 per page. `q` mode searches the blog sitemap instead: every post whose slug holds all the words, with its last-modified time, 50 per page (no titles). Paginated with `page`. Unknown topics are `not_found`.
- [List help articles](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/list_help_articles): The Notion help center index from its sitemap (www.notion.com/{locale}/help/sitemap.xml), in any help locale: every article and guide with slug, kind, URL and last-modified time, most recently changed first. Filter by `q` (every word must appear in the slug), `kind` and `since`; paginated with `limit`/`offset`. The sitemap carries no titles; help_category lists titles per category, and help_article reads a page.
- [List help categories](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/list_help_categories): The Notion help center's section and category tree (the sidebar of www.notion.com/{locale}/help) in any help locale: each section (e.g. "Admin & security") with its categories' localized names, slugs and URLs.
- [List pages](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/list_pages): The Notion developer docs page index (developers.notion.com/llms.txt) as records: title, page path, group (the path's directory, e.g. `reference/webhooks`), URL, Markdown URL and description. Filter by `q` (title, path or description) and `group` (a directory prefix such as `guides` or `reference/admin`); paginated with `limit`/`offset`.
- [List releases](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/list_releases): Notion product release notes from the official releases RSS feed (www.notion.com/releases/rss.xml), newest first: date, title, version (for "Notion 3.8: ..." style releases, else null) and URL. Filter by `since`/`until` (inclusive dates) and `q` (title text); paginated with `limit`/`offset`.
- [List templates](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/list_templates): The Notion template gallery (www.notion.com/{locale}/templates). With `category`: one category page (24 templates per page, most popular first) with the category, its subcategories and template count, in any gallery locale. Without: the gallery home's top categories and most popular templates. Each template has name, slug, description, creator, categories, created and updated times and its public preview URL. Unknown categories are `not_found`.
- [Search docs](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/search_docs): Search the Notion developer docs (developers.notion.com: API reference, guides, Notion MCP, CLI, Workers) through Notion's public Mintlify docs MCP server (`search_notion_docs`). Returns ranked hits in the vendor's order with title, URL, page path, section anchor and a Markdown snippet. The search is semantic, so unusual queries still return loosely related hits.

## 1. Choose this provider when

Notion's public site as agent-ready data: developer docs search through Notion's public docs MCP server, any developers.notion.com page (API reference, guides, MCP, CLI) as Markdown with outline and section reads, the developer page index and the API changelog; help center articles and guides in all 22 help locales with last-updated times, the help index, category tree and per-category article lists; product release notes; plan pricing with monthly and annual prices and the feature grid; blog posts with bylines and dates; and the template gallery. Public sources only (llms.txt, .md twins, docs MCP, sitemaps, RSS, server-rendered pages); no login or key.

## 2. Minimal request

Call `POST https://api.firecrawl.dev/v2/scrape` with `{ alexandria: { provider, capability, options } }`. For a batch, send `{ alexandria: [...] }` with up to 10 calls.

```json
  "capability": "developer-documentation/api_changelog",
  "options": {
    "since": "2026-10-13",
    "until": "2026-10-13"
  }
}
```

## 3. Add provider options

Use only the options needed for the task:

- `limit` (number): Page size, 1-50. Defaults to 10. Example: `10`

### Get blog post

- Capability: `developer-documentation/get_blog_post`
- Description: One Notion blog post (www.notion.com/blog/{slug}) as Markdown converted from the rendered page, with title, description, published and modified times (from the page's Article JSON-LD), the byline (author names and, when shown, job titles), an outline and the content. `section` (heading text or anchor) returns one part. Accepts a slug or a blog URL. Unknown posts are `not_found`.
- Instructions: To read a Notion announcement or leadership post with proof of who wrote it and when (for example the post introducing Notion's CTO), or any engineering or product post.
- Cost: 5 credits per call
- Capability file: [Get blog post](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/get_blog_post)

Accepted options:
- `max_chars` (number): Cut `content` to this many characters; `chars` still reports the full length. Example: `10`
- `section` (string): Heading text or anchor (case-insensitive); returns only that heading and its subsections. A URL anchor selects it too. Example: `<section>`
- `slug` (string): Post slug, e.g. `meet-max-schoening-notion-cto`. Example: `meet-max-schoening-notion-cto`
- `url` (string): A www.notion.com/blog/ URL, as an alternative to `slug`. Example: `<url>`

Response schema example:

This year, he and the team shipped two of our biggest launches: Custom Agents for everyday knowledge workers and our Developer Platform, which lets people and agents extend Notion to fit how they work.\n\nAnd now, Max is stepping into the role of CTO. While Max has been our product and design leader for the last year, he’s an engineer by trade and has built as much as he has designed. He ran design early on at Heroku (the original PaaS) and worked on Cloud Run at Google. At GitHub, he spent six and a half years working on GitHub Issues, Pull Requests, GitHub Actions, and cloud development environments—tools that millions of developers use to build and ship software.\n\nMax has spent his career making complex infrastructure feel simple, mostly for developers. At Notion, he’s doing the same for founders, builders, and businesses of all kinds.\n\nHe believes in open platforms that put customers first. So do we. ### Get page

- Capability: `developer-documentation/get_page`
- Description: One Notion developer docs page as clean Markdown (GET developers.notion.com/{path}.md, the docs' agent-facing twin) with title, description, an outline of headings with anchors, and the content. `section` (heading text or anchor, case-insensitive) returns only that heading and its subsections. Accepts a page path or a developers.notion.com URL; an anchor in the URL selects that section. Unknown pages and sections are `not_found`.
- Instructions: To read Notion API reference pages (endpoints, objects, errors, limits), developer guides, Notion MCP, CLI and Workers docs, or the API changelog page. Call without `section` (with a small `max_chars`) to see the outline, then fetch the section you need.
- Cost: 5 credits per call
- Capability file: [Get page](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/get_page)

Accepted options:
- `max_chars` (number): Cut `content` to this many characters; `chars` still reports the full length. Example: `10`
- `path` (string): Page path, e.g. `reference/request-limits` or `guides/get-started/overview`. `.md` and `#anchor` are accepted. Example: `reference/request-limits`
- `section` (string): Heading text or anchor (case-insensitive); returns only that heading and its subsections. A URL anchor selects it too. Example: `<section>`
- `url` (string): A developers.notion.com page URL, as an alternative to `path`. Example: `<url>`

Response schema example:

Some endpoints also have their own limit.\n\n### Per-connection limit\n\nEach connection has a fixed budget of requests per 60-second window, based on the workspace's plan:\n\n| Workspace plan | Limit |\n| :- | :- |\n| Business and Enterprise | 600 requests per minute (an average of 10 per second) |\n| All other plans | 180 requests per minute (an average of 3 per second) |\n\nThe budget can be spent at any pace within the window — spread out evenly or in a single burst. A request over this limit returns an HTTP 429 response with a `Retry-After` header. If you call the REST API directly, see [Retry rate-limited requests](#retry-rate-limited-requests).\n\n### Per-workspace limit\n\nA separate limit is shared across all of the workspace's connections and scaled to the workspace's plan. Because it's shared, requests can be rate limited even when each individual connection is within its per-connection limit. `Retry-After` for this limit can be longer than a minute.\n\n### Rate limit responses\n\nRequests that exceed a",

### Get pricing

- Capability: `developer-documentation/get_pricing`
- Description: Notion's plans and prices from www.notion.com/pricing in one call: each plan card (Free, Plus, Business, Enterprise) with its description, the price as displayed, and both the monthly-billing and annual-billing list prices from the page's embedded price table (annual as the yearly total and per month), so no billing toggle is needed. Also other priced products on the page (Notion AI add-on, AI credit packs, Sites custom domains, the student plan) and the feature comparison grid (section, feature, tooltip and each plan's value or check mark). Prices are in the currency the page serves (USD for US visitors).
- Instructions: To answer what Notion costs, compare plans, or check plan limits (file uploads, page history, guests, AI features, admin and security controls) without clicking the monthly/annual toggle.
- Cost: 5 credits per call
- Capability file: [Get pricing](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/get_pricing)

Accepted options:
- `include_features` (boolean): Include the feature comparison grid. Defaults to true. Example: `false`

### Get release

- Capability: `developer-documentation/get_release`
- Description: One Notion release notes page (www.notion.com/releases/{date}) as Markdown converted from the rendered page, with date, title, version badge, description, an outline of the announced features and the content. `section` (heading text or anchor) returns one feature. Accepts the release date or a release URL. Unknown dates and sections are `not_found`.
- Instructions: To read what a Notion release contains, feature by feature. Find release dates with list_releases.
- Cost: 5 credits per call
- Capability file: [Get release](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/get_release)

Accepted options:
- `date` (string): Release date as listed by list_releases, e.g. `2026-10-13`. Pattern: ^[0-9]{4}-[0-9]{2}-[0-9]{2}$. Example: `2026-10-13`
- `max_chars` (number): Cut `content` to this many characters; `chars` still reports the full length. Example: `10`
- `section` (string): Heading text or anchor (case-insensitive); returns only that heading and its subsections. A URL anchor selects it too. Example: `<section>`
- `url` (string): A www.notion.com/releases/ URL, as an alternative to `date`. Example: `<url>`

Response schema example:
```json
{
  "chars": 677,
  "content": "### Column permissions in databases\n\nNotion databases give teams and agents a shared, up-to-date source of context. But both teams and agents need the right level of access. [Column permissions](https://www.notion.com/help/database-property-access) were a top requested feature *for years* (we spent time getting this one right). They let database owners control which properties each person or agent can view or edit. Recruiting teams can collaborate on candidates without exposing compensation. Support agents can use account context without seeing restricted customer data. [Watch the trailer](https://x.com/wustep/status/2104610435571884086?s=20) from one of it’s creators!",
### Help article
- Capability: `developer-documentation/help_article`
- Description: One Notion help center article or guide (www.notion.com/{locale}/help/{slug} or /help/guides/{slug}) in any of the 22 help center locales, as Markdown converted from the rendered page, with title, description, category, last-updated time, an outline of headings with anchors and the content. Screenshots and videos are omitted; callouts become blockquotes. `section` (heading text or anchor) returns only that heading and its subsections. Accepts a slug (plus optional `locale`) or a help center URL in any locale. `updated_at` is the page's lastmod in the same-locale help sitemap (a second request), the field change monitors should watch. Unknown articles and sections are `not_found`, as are help slugs that redirect off www.notion.com (for example `security-and-privacy`, which now points to a notion.site page; its category is readable with help_category).
- Instructions: To read how a Notion product feature works (databases, views, formulas, sharing, permissions, Notion AI, MCP, billing and plans) from Notion's official help center, in English or a localized edition. Find slugs with list_help_articles or help_category.
- Cost: 5 credits per call
- Capability file: [Help article](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/help_article)
Accepted options:
- `locale` (string): Help center locale: `en` (default) or one of `ar`, `da`, `de`, `en-gb`, `es`, `es-es`, `fi`, `fr`, `he`, `id`, `it`, `ja`, `ko`, `nb`, `nl`, `pt`, `sv`, `th`, `vi`, `zh-cn`, `zh-tw`. Aliases such as `zh`, `pt-br` and `en-au` map to their site locale. A localized URL selects its locale too. Example: `<locale>`
- `max_chars` (number): Cut `content` to this many characters; `chars` still reports the full length. Example: `10`
- `section` (string): Heading text or anchor (case-insensitive); returns only that heading and its subsections. A URL anchor selects it too. Example: `<section>`
- `slug` (string): Article slug such as `create-a-database`, or `guides/<slug>` for a guide. Example: `create-a-database`
- `url` (string): A www.notion.com help URL in any locale (e.g. https://www.notion.com/ja/help/create-a-database), as an alternative to `slug`. Example: `<url>`
- Capability: `developer-documentation/help_category`
- Description: Every article and guide in one Notion help center category (www.notion.com/{locale}/help/category/{slug}/all) with localized titles, slugs, kind and URLs, in any help locale. Accepts a category slug (plus optional `locale`) or a category URL. Unknown categories are `not_found`.
### List blog posts
- Capability: `developer-documentation/list_blog_posts`
- Description: Notion blog posts, newest first. Default mode reads a listing page (www.notion.com/blog, or /blog/topic/{topic}) with title, subtitle, topic and authors with job title and company, 10 per page. `q` mode searches the blog sitemap instead: every post whose slug holds all the words, with its last-modified time, 50 per page (no titles). Paginated with `page`. Unknown topics are `not_found`.
- Instructions: To find Notion announcements, leadership posts (for example new executives on topic `notion-hq` or `q: cto`), engineering posts or customer stories, before reading one with get_blog_post.
- Cost: 5 credits per call
- Capability file: [List blog posts](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/list_blog_posts)
Accepted options:
- `page` (number): 1-based page. Defaults to 1. Example: `10`
- `q` (string): Words that must all appear in the post slug, e.g. `cto` or `series c`. Example: `<q>`
- `topic` (string): Topic slug: `notion-hq`, `for-teams`, `tech`, `inspiration`, `podcast` or `first-block` (see `topics` in the output). Example: `notion-hq`
### List help articles
- Capability: `developer-documentation/list_help_articles`
- Description: The Notion help center index from its sitemap (www.notion.com/{locale}/help/sitemap.xml), in any help locale: every article and guide with slug, kind, URL and last-modified time, most recently changed first. Filter by `q` (every word must appear in the slug), `kind` and `since`; paginated with `limit`/`offset`. The sitemap carries no titles; help_category lists titles per category, and help_article reads a page.
- Instructions: To search the help center by topic (for example `q: database`), to find a slug before help_article, or to see which help pages changed since a date (the sitemap lastmod).
- Cost: 5 credits per call
- Capability file: [List help articles](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/list_help_articles)
Accepted options:
- `kind` (string): Only articles or only guides. Example: `article`
- `limit` (number): Page size, 1-500. Defaults to 50. Example: `10`
- `locale` (string): Help center locale: `en` (default) or one of `ar`, `da`, `de`, `en-gb`, `es`, `es-es`, `fi`, `fr`, `he`, `id`, `it`, `ja`, `ko`, `nb`, `nl`, `pt`, `sv`, `th`, `vi`, `zh-cn`, `zh-tw`. Aliases such as `zh`, `pt-br` and `en-au` map to their site locale. A localized URL selects its locale too. Example: `<locale>`
- `offset` (number): Records to skip. Defaults to 0. Example: `10`
- `q` (string): Words that must all appear in the slug, e.g. `database views`. Example: `database views`
- `since` (string): Only pages modified on or after this day. Pattern: ^[0-9]{4}-[0-9]{2}-[0-9]{2}$. Example: `<since>`
Without: the gallery home's top categories and most popular templates. Each template has name, slug, description, creator, categories, created and updated times and its public preview URL. Unknown categories are `not_found`.
- Instructions: To browse Notion templates for a use case (`projects`, `work`, `school`, `personal`, `ai-skills`, subcategory slugs) or to watch a category for new and updated templates.
- Cost: 5 credits per call
- Capability file: [List templates](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/notion-com/developer-documentation/list_templates)
### Search docs
- Capability: `developer-documentation/search_docs`
- Description: Search the Notion developer docs (developers.notion.com: API reference, guides, Notion MCP, CLI, Workers) through Notion's public Mintlify docs MCP server (`search_notion_docs`). Returns ranked hits in the vendor's order with title, URL, page path, section anchor and a Markdown snippet. The search is semantic, so unusual queries still return loosely related hits.
- Instructions: To find which Notion API or developer docs page and section covers a topic (data sources, filters, webhooks, OAuth, rate limits, MCP tools). Pass a hit's `path` and `anchor` to get_page as `path` and `section`.
