## Capabilities

- [Bis](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/foreverdb-net/video-game-gear/bis): Best-in-slot gear for one World of Warcraft: Forever class and spec at a character level (1-60) in PvE, PvP or leveling mode: for every slot the best item with its score, scoring stats, where it comes from and how hard it is to get, the next two items and how far behind they are, and the best enchant or armor kit; plus the stat weights the list was scored with.
- [Item](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/foreverdb-net/video-game-gear/item): One World of Warcraft: Forever item by id: name, quality, item and required level, slot and armor or weapon type, armor, damage and DPS, numeric stats, effects, sell price, every property line, whether it is new in Forever or labelled Speculation, and where to get it (drops with chances, quest rewards, vendors, crafting).

## 1. Choose this provider when

ForeverDB, a World of Warcraft: Forever database built from the game client: best-in-slot gear for every class and spec at any level from 1 to 60 for PvE, PvP or leveling (best item per slot with its score, stats, the next two picks, where it comes from and the best enchant, plus the stat weights used), and item details (stats, effects, levels, what is new in Forever and where to get it), read from the site's server-rendered pages.

## 2. Minimal request

Call `POST https://api.firecrawl.dev/v2/scrape` with `{ alexandria: { provider, capability, options } }`. For a batch, send `{ alexandria: [...] }` with up to 10 calls.

```json
{
  "provider": "foreverdb-net",
  "capability": "video-game-gear/bis",
  "options": {
    "class": "warrior",
    "level": 20,
    "spec": "arms"
  }
}
```

## 3. Add provider options

Use only the options needed for the task:

- `class` (string, required): class Example: `druid`
- `level` (number): Character level, 1-60. Default: the beta level cap (30). Items above the cap are labelled Speculation by the site. Example: `10`
- `mode` (string): pve (default, raid stat weights), pvp, or leveling (ForeverDB's leveling weights: more Stamina and armor). Example: `pve`
- `spec` (string, required): Spec slug of that class: druid balance/feral/restoration, hunter beast-mastery/marksmanship/survival, mage arcane/fire/frost, paladin holy/protection/retribution, priest discipline/holy/shadow, rogue assassination/combat/subtlety, shaman elemental/enhancement/restoration, warlock affliction/demonology/destruction, warrior arms/fury/protection. Example: `balance`

## API reference-derived contract

The following capability contract is generated from the same normalized Alexandria API reference exposed in the API spec.

### Bis

- Capability: `video-game-gear/bis`
- Description: Best-in-slot gear for one World of Warcraft: Forever class and spec at a character level (1-60) in PvE, PvP or leveling mode: for every slot the best item with its score, scoring stats, where it comes from and how hard it is to get, the next two items and how far behind they are, and the best enchant or armor kit; plus the stat weights the list was scored with.
- Instructions: Answer what gear a WoW Forever character should wear or aim for at its level: pass class, spec, level and mode. Chain an item id into `item` for its full stats and sources.
- Cost: 5 credits per call
- Capability file: [Bis](https://firecrawl.dev/alexandria/agents/providers/foreverdb-net/video-game-gear/bis)

Accepted options:
- `class` (string, required): class Example: `druid`
- `level` (number): Character level, 1-60. Default: the beta level cap (30). Items above the cap are labelled Speculation by the site. Example: `10`
- `mode` (string): pve (default, raid stat weights), pvp, or leveling (ForeverDB's leveling weights: more Stamina and armor). Example: `pve`
- `spec` (string, required): Spec slug of that class: druid balance/feral/restoration, hunter beast-mastery/marksmanship/survival, mage arcane/fire/frost, paladin holy/protection/retribution, priest discipline/holy/shadow, rogue assassination/combat/subtlety, shaman elemental/enhancement/restoration, warlock affliction/demonology/destruction, warrior arms/fury/protection. Example: `balance`
